Who is Mr. EVOLTA?
I am 17cm tall, 134g, powered by only two AA EVOLTA batteries, and I love challenges!
Challenge #1: I climbed the 500m wall of the Grand Canyon (wind and rain, no problem!)
Challenge #2: I completed the 24 hours endurance challenge (tough track, but loved it!)
Although Mr. EVOLTA is only 17cm tall, he conveys enormous strength, great determination and a winning spirit, as did David when he had to confront Goliath. When Mr. EVOLTA is powered by 2 of Panasonics EVOLTA AA batteries, he transforms into a force to be reckoned with.

Following 3 successful previous challenges Mr Evolta is ready for the next one.
In October, Mr Evolta will put on his green suit to highlight the longevity and durability of the Panasonic?s Evolta rechargeable batteries by competing in the World famous ?Iron man? triathlon in Hawaii.
Powered by only three AA size Panasonic rechargeable batteries, Mr Evolta will compete in a full triathlon, consisting of swimming, cycling and running (around 230 km in total).
It is the first time that a battery has participated in a full triathlon and the event will take place within one week or 168 hours from October 24, 2011.
Challenges of Mr. EVOLTA
In May 2008, Mr. EVOLTA set out to scale the walls of the Grand Canyon to prove the long-lasting power of a mere two Evolta batteries. Wind, rain, and even hail tormented Mr. EVOLTA day after day, but on Saturday May 24, Mr. EVOLTA climbed a 530-meter rope to the top of the cliff in 6 hours, 46 minutes, and 31 seconds. Quite a feat! Mr. EVOLTA demonstrated the long-lasting power of EVOLTA batteries!
Talk about power; that little Robot has lots of it! The question remains: Where in the world will Mr. EVOLTA appear next?
Birth of Mr. EVOLTA
Tomotaka Takahashi is the ingenious developer behind the new Panasonic EVOLTA Robot. Mr. Takahashi created this EVOLTA mascot, which has been nick-named Mr. EVOLTA, to symbolize Panasonic?s Alkaline Battery power.
