| New Panasonic batteries increase hearing aid performance |

These devices require a higher cut off voltage (from 0.9V to 1.1V) and are demanding a high drain and pulse discharge. The new product range, which has been streamlined from 8 down to 5, with just one battery range accommodating for both analogue and digital hearing aids, will be marketed in Panasonic Batteries' popular Select-O-Pack dispenser from June 2002 onward.
Anticipating the market's move away from analogue devices, Panasonic Batteries designed the new Zinc Air batteries to optimise performance of digital hearing aids.
