| The Photo Award 2004 is in sight! |
 |
The online competition All competitors have to do is register and follow the instructions. After a few days, their entries will be included in the online gallery. Amateur photographers who have not (yet) entered the digital era do not need to worry. Analogue photographs can be scanned and the digital version can then be uploaded on the website.
Participation The award is open to all amateur photographers of any age, regardless of their level of experience or training. On the homepage of www.photo-award.com, participants will be asked to select their country of residence so that they can upload the pictures on the appropriate sub-site. After reading the Rules, Terms and Conditions and the Technical Specifications, they can go to the Entry form and start uploading their pictures.
The prizes The first prize will be an exclusive one-week holiday for two in the fabulous Epacha Game Lodge & Spa in Namibia (worth over EUR 5000). What's more, in some countries the 'Panasonic Batteries' Amateur Photo of the Year 2004' will be printed in a major regional newspaper. The runner-up will win a Panasonic digital camera, while the second runner-up will be taking home a trendy Panasonic D-Snap multi camera. For the monthly awards, Panasonic Batteries has a selection of photography-related prizes, ranging from Panasonic 128mB SD-cards to Panasonic rechargeable battery family kits, and Panasonic Batteries Digital Still Camera kits.
