Panasonic Batteries in a new jacket!
Panasonic Batteries, the world's largest battery manufacturer has blown a fresh wind in the battery market by developing a new global design for its full battery packaging range.

The design project fits within the ‘Ideas for Life’-brand strategy offering customers a strong unified Panasonic Batteries offering anywhere anytime. The new packaging with a unique global design will appear in the 5 continents as from next year. Europe will be ahead of other regions in launching the new global design in spring 2005.

Market research  demonstrated that the new packaging design is highly appreciated by consumers worldwide. The new design scores particularly well on attractiveness, convenience, range coherence and brand power.
  • Worldwide respondents fancy the attractive design that creates a more appealing stronger 
     image and improves the distinctiveness of Panasonic batteries in a highly competitive market.
  • Consumers appreciate the clear and easy battery choice offered by the new design: packaging is easy- to-open and new uniform pictograms make it clear and convenient to identify the right battery application.
  • Research confirms that the individual blister designs contribute to the extremely strong range coherence for the Panasonic brand.
As a result, the powerful new design breathes premium quality and evokes a modern, lively and friendly brand image.

All new major innovations announced by the company – including the high performance Panasonic Digital Xtreme Power Battery specifically developed for the digital era – will be introduced in Europe with the new design in spring 2005.
