| Panasonic launches improved range of torches with unique technical features for better performance and convenience (30 Nov 2007) |

New technological advancements in Panasonic torches have resulted in improved quality of light and a more intense sphere of illumination.
•
A revolutionary optical bulb has been used to improve the light quality of 9 torches in the range. This pear-shaped bulb allows the light to shine more evenly while improving the clarity for distant objects with its wide illumination sphere. Improved light distribution makes viewing easier, producing clearer, eye-friendly light.
• In the LED-range, the unique aspherical lens provides increased brightness and evenly dispersed light. This feature joins the list of other impressive design features such as an ergonomic adjustable beam for spot and wide illumination All LED torches are constructed from durable, premium quality materials in an all-weather design and incorporate a current control circuit ensuring stable, long-term brightness.
• Thanks to the new ‘global’ design packaging, it is now even easier for consumers to make the right choice for their individual needs. The features and applications of each torch are clearly indicated using convenient, easy to interpret pictograms. The torches can be found in their new packaging in stores across Europe from end of this year.
