Four key areas in our approach to battery production

Reseach and development

Reseach and development

Continual research into materials, processes, and system technology has resulted in high-value products that exceed customer expectations in every respect.

Production

Production

Almost all batteries are made on fully automated production lines for superior consistency of quality and greater efficiency. The vast majority of our products are made in contaminant-free clean rooms.

Quality control

Quality control

Every cell is subjected to severe five-category testing covering discharge performance, leak resistance, shelf life, performance in extreme environments, and product stability over time.

Environmental responsibility

Environmental responsibility

Panasonic is committed to reducing its impact on the environment by reducing harmful emissions.

Panasonic’s approach covers four key areas: research and development, production, quality control, and environmental responsibility. These guiding principles are governed by one desire: to provide clean, safe, affordable energy to people from all walks of life.
