Zinc carbon batteries are more commonly used in low-drain devices, whereas the Panasonic alkaline range spans the entire appliance spectrum: from low- to high-drain.
Assuming your device isn’t faulty, causes may lie in either improper contact with the terminal or in the batteries themselves.
Coin batteries have a low voltage (1.5 V) and a diameter less than 12 mm to prevent any serious accident. Also, packaging has been designed specifically to prevent accidental ingestion. Panasonic coin batteries are thus relatively safe and serious accidents are very uncommon.
It is not recommended as this could lead to over-discharging the batteries, which is one of the main causes of shortening the service life of your batteries.
While leakage is rare, it may still occur if the battery is used incorrectly. Leakage is usually caused by leaving the battery in an unused device or short-circuiting.
The ideal temperature for our primary batteries is between 5°C up to 45°C. 
Never throw batteries in the trash. All batteries, including Panasonic hearing aid batteries, can and should be recycled.
There are different types of Panasonic alkaline batteries, each with their own specialty.
Replace your battery as soon as your hearing aid no longer functions properly. If this happens unusually soon, consider checking if contact between the battery and the terminals inside is faulty.
