When should I remove the batteries from my device?
Under certain conditions, it’s best to remove batteries from their device to avoid leakage.
Firstly, when you plan on not using your device for a longer period of time, you should always remove the batteries.
Secondly, avoid letting ‘empty’ batteries sit in their containers. A worn-out battery might still contain a bit of energy, which could cause leakage.
Lastly, don’t keep non-rechargeable batteries in an AC-powered device.
