Bring magic alive: Panasonic Batteries Contest in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil

Bringing the magic alive, that's what the Panasonic Energy Europe promotion campaign in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil is all about. This year, we are celebrating our 100th anniversary and we are turning the spotlight on the technical magic of batteries. The partnership allowed us to launch an interactive online competition starting in May until end of August 2018, for which competitors are encouraged to invite spectators to join their audience. The prize? A trip for two to the Cirque du Soleil international headquarters and tickets to see the show Corteo at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada!

Creating and completing your audience

Participating is simple! Just follow these steps:

  3. Invite your friends and family via Facebook or per e-mail to complete your audience.
  4. Build up points by inviting more spectators to your show. The more spectators, the more points you collect. You can trade these points to unlock acts of the Cirque du Soleil artists which you can share with your audience.
  5. At the end, the one with the most spectators in his audience, wins the competition and enjoys a trip for two to Montreal.

So, let's talk about the prize some more! To really bring the magic alive, the winner of this contest will get the full Cirque du Soleil experience, including an exclusive peek behind the scenes. First, they will enter the mystical world of the Cirque du Soleil by attending the show Corteo at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Moreover, during a guided tour of the international Cirque du Soleil headquarters in Montreal, the winner will get to witness where the shows are created and come to life. Runners-up will receive a nice Panasonic and Cirque du Soleil-themed goodie bag.

Thanks to this collaboration, a wide range of Cirque du Soleil themed publicity materials are on display in stores in more than 30 European countries: displays, window stickers, banners and more. Of course, Cirque du Soleil artists are also depicted on the packaging of Panasonic Batteries. Moreover, the themed packs of EVOLTA, Pro Power and Everyday Power are offered with a nice advantage: 2 to 6 free batteries per pack, depending on the type and number of batteries in the blister.
