We developed durable and reliable materials for the Rechargeable Evolta AA batteries that make them perfect for high-power applications, while you can reuse and recharge them up to 500 times. That means you are not only saving money, but the environment as well with less wastage and fewer resources used.

Ready-to-use reliability

The batteries are packaged with a full charge so you can start using them right after purchase. Depending on the storage conditions and the appliance used, usage may not be possible or may be shortened in some cases. If this occurs we recommend to recharge additionally before you use the batteries. Our advanced self-discharge control system retains about 80 % of its original capacity after a year in storage, so you can enjoy reliable performance anytime. The ready-to-use reliability applies when the battery is fully recharged, then removed from the charger and stored at 20 °C (68°F) or lower. Avoid storing at high temperatures or in high humidity. It is recommended that the battery be recharged about once a year, even if the battery has not been used.

Dependable power: Capacity marking according to EU Directive

Rechargeable batteries put on the market from July 2012 onwards must comply with the capacity marking requirements of the EU Battery Directive 2006/66 (as amended). This means that the capacity has to be measured according to international standards and clearly mentioned on any rechargeable battery sold. All of our Panasonic rechargeable batteries comply with this capacity marking Regulation.
