Credible technology for endless power
Panasonic launched the production of Silver Oxide batteries in 1976 in Japan. Like all the batteries in this range, SR41 uses zinc as the negative electrode (anode), silver oxide as the positive electrode (cathode) plus an alkaline electrolyte. In comparison to other batteries, a silver oxide battery has a higher open circuit potential (1,55V). A flatter discharge curve compared to a standard alkaline battery is also a characteristic.
Usage of silver
Panasonic SR41 is characterised by a continuous high power supply and a large capacity till the end of its life cycle. When using silver, there's is automatically a higher price in comparison to other button cells or coin type batteries. Choose the SR41 batteries for their stability and long life (twice the capacity of an alkaline button cell).
No mercury added
Being in the forefront of clean energy solutions has always been a priority. This environmental awareness led them to innovating ideas which reduce the materials that are harmful for the environment. Because of these efforts, the SR41 SILVER OXIDE battery has 0% mercury added.
Appliances
Panasonic SILVER OXIDE SR41 (1,55 V) is ideal for precision electronic devices such as heart rate monitors for athletes, digital watches, bike computers, etc. – typical applications that require a high-energy density and a stable operating voltage. Other applications include laser pens, digital clocks, calculators, watches and medical devices like heart rate monitors.
