Superior silver
A large capacity and a continuous high power supply till the end of its life cycle are two elements by which the Panasonic SR920 battery distinguishes itself from other types of batteries. It also has twice the capacity of an alkaline button cell. It may cost more compared with other button cells or coin type batteries because of the use of silver, but the long life and stability of SR920 make it nevertheless an excellent choice.
Trusted technology for continuous power
In Japan back in 1976, Panasonic launched the production of Silver Oxide batteries. Like all our batteries in this range, SR920 uses zinc as the negative electrode (anode), silver oxide as the positive electrode (cathode), plus an alkaline electrolyte. A silver oxide battery has a higher open circuit potential (1,55V) compared to other batteries. It also has a flatter discharge curve than a standard alkaline battery.
Applications
The Panasonic SILVER OXIDE SR920 batteries are suitable for precision electronic devices such as digital watches, bike computers, heart rate monitors for athletes, etc. – typical applications where a high-energy density and a stable operating voltage are required. Other appliances in which you can use these batteries are for example laser pens, calculators and digital clocks.
