Small and high drain devices
SR927 benefits
- Stable power until the end of the battery life (flat discharge curve)
- Ideal for recision electronics: very reliable performance
- High energy density and suitable for small devices
- Wide range available
- No mercury added
- Low self-discharge
Superior silver
A large capacity and a continuous high power supply till the end of its life cycle distinguishes the Panasonic SR927 (1,55 V) from others. Because there was silver used in this battery, there's a higher price compared with other button cells or coin type batteries. Choose the SR927 for its long life (twice the capacity of an alkaline button cell) and stability.
Applications
Precision electronic devices such as digital watches, bike computers, heart rate monitors for athletes are appliances where the SILVER OXIDE SR927 (1,55 V) can be used for. These are typical applications where a high-energy density and a stable operating voltage are required. But also laser pens, calculators, watches, digital clocks and medical devices like heart rate monitors are ideal appliances for the SILVER OXIDE SR927 batteries.
No mercury
Panasonic has always been in the forefront of clean energy solutions. Reducing the use of materials that can harm the environment are the result of innovating ideas due to the environmental awareness. The SILVER OXIDE SR927 has nowadays 0% mercury added as a result of these efforts.
Continuous power thanks to trusted technology
The production of the SILVER OXIDE batteries was launched in 1976 in Japan. Silver oxide is used as the positive electrode (cathode) and zinc as the negative electrode (anode) plus an alkaline electrolyte, like all the batteries in this range. These kind of batteries have a higher open circuit potential (1,55 V) compared to other batteries. It also has a flatter discharge curve than a standard alkaline battery.
